...force the price of gasoline down by finding another way to work once a week, or all week for all of that. No matter where you go, there you are. Find a close to home place to vacation. Do everything you can to save gasoline, if you make 3 trips out each day plan ahead and turn it into one trip. Avoid aimless driving and try not to turn driving into some sort of competitive sport. The key to getting the best mileage is to start out slowly and hold down your speed. It makes no sense to speed to the next light. Nobody is impressed by you being the first one to the next light. Remember that plenty of handicapped people, people that are feeble of mind, old people... almost any old moron can drive, nobody is impressed at all by your dazzling driving gymnastics on the road, it is one of the easiest skills you will ever learn. It's nice if you are a good driver, but nobody cares because 97 percent of everybody who drives is a good driver even the old bluehairs. The 3 percent who are bad drivers are morons weaving in and out and trying to get around the others to be the first one to the next light.
It is important to yourself and others that you limit your use of gasoline. Remember that if demand falls, so the price will fall.
