Scientists in the U.K.

Have developed sperm from stem cells. If true this could bring the need for men to an end. A hundred years from now Men may be relegated to zoos with hordes of Women trooping by just for a look. Since sperm are either male or female it should be relatively easy to sort them. Eventually the population will become 99.97% female. One hopes the Zoo bound specimens can be trained not to hurl feces at the passing females, with constant pleas to "Bring me a beer,"

*This had to happen anyway because males of all mammalian species lose approximately 1/2 of one percent in sperm viability with each passing generation. This is one of the several ways Mother Nature limits the time on Earth of any particular species and is the main reason why 99.8% of all species that have ever lived are extinct. It seems that this may insure that niches are filled with the new, perhaps better adapted forms and that entire species are allotted a life span, not just individual members of those species.
This means that if Humans can use their giant brains to bypass Mother Nature and continue past this species lifespan, then it ultimately must be as Female. Remember other Hominids with giant brains were unable to continue. As we all know, It's not nice to fool Mother Nature!
