...Congress and the Administration are children playing Monopoly with my money? I live on Baltic Avenue and they live on Park Place, I have a twenty and two ones. I have just paid my last cash to Community Chest and have to roll through a gauntlet of red and green loaded with hotels. The other players hold all the railroads and utilities and the Banker is printing money. Anybody else would give up.
I will not, but all seriousness aside it is pretty obvious that the stimulus has not worked, do not rail for another stimulus. There is only one place they can get money for another, print it.
The Japanese had much the same situation a decade or so back, they addressed it in much the same way we are today. It took ten long years for them to come out of their economic problems. The situation we find ourselves in today is probably far worse. One may note that Japan came through, as a diminished power.
