I read that a Republican candidate for an office in Cook County went in to vote for himself and noted that his ballot was counted for the Democrat.
My question, having followed Cook County voting since 1959, is why was he so surprised? and I think I see his problem here. Obviously he came in to vote out of alphabetical order. It also might have helped if his age was over 100. Everybody knows the Cook County vote tends to be in alphabetical order and that Cook County voters are so enthusiastic they tend to vote even after they have passed on.
